1.    Cabinet chair of the National Assembly in session
 
    Chairing the plenary session of the NA, Cavayé Yéguié Djibril
    and the parliamentarians, seek to ratify adoption bill to avoid scandals like
    the Vanessa case that almost robbed the nation’s name to mud.
    Deliberations also lay emphasis on the prolonged parliamentary 
    mandate system,  affected by the legislative and Municipal
     elections pushed forward to a later date.
 
2.    Transport Minister tours Douala
 
    Minister Robert NKILI plans a 2 day working visit to the Littoral region to      
   check the transport network and materialise projects that will ease movement.
   The Minister during this two day tour will check the authencity of the control
   routines put in place to ensure that all vehicles in circulation carry the CEMAC
   number plates.

COUNCILS AND COMMUNITIES RECEIVE ROYALTIES / GOVERNMENT TO TRAIN PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

3.    Councils and communities receive royalties

Some councils and communities in the North Region have received bank checks worth 72 million CFA francs as wildlife royalties.

The checks were handed over by the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, Ngole Philip Ngwesse who was recently in the North Region, for a working visit.

4.    Government to train people with disabilities

 

A foundation stone for the construction of a multifunctional centre for people living with disabilities has been launched in Bepanda, Douala by the Minister of Social Affairs, Catherine Bakang Mbock.

The infrastructure has been estimated at 750 million CFA francs at completion. If all goes on as planned, the centre shall be  used to build the capacities of people living with disabilities.
