The Prime Minster  and Head of Government, Philemon Yang is in Dakar, Capital of Senegal for the swearing-in ceremony of the President -Elect of Senegal, Macky Sall.

According to a press release signed by the Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister’s office, Ghogomu Paul Mingo, the Prime Minister is at the head of a delegation to Senegal on the instructions of the President of the Republic Paul Biya.

Macky Sall who takes office this Monday 2nd April 2012 is the fourth President of Senegal since the independence of the country.

The incoming president has vowed to improve on the economy of Senegal. He has started making true on his promise by prescribing a very simplistic swearing in ceremony. He says the ceremony should be void of unnecessary excesses.
